The agency commissioned us to shoot this test commercial for the Russian market. They wanted to use actors to help the audience engage with the story.
The challenges
• A hero that needed to convey the subtleties of the awkwardness of her situation; followed by her sense of celebration
• We needed to show a range of facial expressions to express the hero’s discomfort – from subtle through to very obvious
• A cost effective way of shooting a concert crowd without having to cast lots of extras
The solution
A film shot in our mobile green screen studio in Brighton. The crowd scene was made up of a few extras who were re-styled several times to give the impression of a large crowd.
The result
A test film shot in a day that went on to be made into a full up.
